We get a lot of calls from folks in Lakewood, University Place, and Parkland asking if we can pressure wash their roof. The short answer? We don’t and here’s why.
Most roofs in our area are asphalt shingle or composite. Those materials are not made to handle high pressure. A pressure washer can blow off granules, loosen shingles, or even force water underneath, which can lead to leaks or mold in your attic.

Instead, we use soft washing which is a much safer method. We apply a cleaning mix that kills moss, algae, and lichen at the root. Then we rinse it off gently with low pressure. It cleans the roof without damaging it.
We’ve seen homes in neighborhoods like Bridgeport Way or Gravelly Lake Drive where someone used a power washer and ended up needing expensive repairs. That’s why we always take the safer route.
If your roof looks streaky or green, it doesn’t need blasting, it needs the right kind of soft pressure cleaning. Let us handle it the smart way.
